In Bunoga – Kamwenge, there is a family living in conditions no one should ever endure. A father, a mother—who is expecting another child—and their five little ones call a fragile, makeshift shade their home. When the rains come, the roof offers no protection. Instead, the entire family is forced to stand and wait until the storm passes, shivering and helpless. Night after night, this is their reality.
The children, innocent and full of potential, have no safe space to sleep and no opportunity to pursue education. Their days are clouded by uncertainty and their future at risk of being defined by hardship. Yet behind their tired eyes lies a silent plea for a chance—a chance to learn, to dream, and to live with dignity.
